Tour Itinerary

Meeting/pick-up point: BTS Sapan Taksin Exit 1

End of tour: MRT Huay Kwang Exit 4

Duration: About 10 hours.

Start/opening time: 08.00 AM.

End/closing time: 6.00 PM.

Your experience will begin at 8:00 AM when you meet your guide at the BTS Saphan Taksin Exit 1
1). Wat Arun where King Taksin built the 3rd capital of Siam. Plus visit one of the most beautiful examples of an ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence of the King of Thailand.
2). Wat Pho A site of the 46-meter-long reclining Buddha. An area of 20 acres, here’s the largest WAT in Bangkok and is technically the oldest too as it was built around 200 years ago before “Bangkok” became the capital of Thailand. It combines history, and medical science and is a center of meditation and traditional Thai massage.
3). Pak Khlong Talat market, is at the fourth rank among the top ten flower markets around the world. It is also the third biggest orchid flower market in the world.
4). Huai Khwang Market, you can shop for the all products that you will use in your cooking class, especially vegetables, herbs, and fruit, and for sure that you will see many kinds of them that you never seen before.
5). “Uncle and Aunt’s Cooking Home”, you will learn about various exotic Thai ingredients, including vegetables, rice, herbs, and spices, as well as the preparation of coconut milk and curry paste from scratch. Spend two hours making four delicious dishes, and savor each one individually while they’re still hot and fresh.


What to do in the class:
First visit to the Ganesha Shrine, a sacred thing of people in the community. Next to Huai Khwang Market(around 400 Meters from Ganesha Shrine) one of the fresh markets in this area. You can shop for the all products that you will use in your cooking class, especially vegetables, herbs, and fruit, and for sure that you will see many kinds of them that you never see before. Aftermarket continues by local transportation to the class, you will learn about various exotic Thai ingredients, including vegetables, rice, herbs, and spices, as well as the preparation of coconut milk and curry paste from scratch. Spend two hours making four delicious dishes, and savor each one individually while they’re still hot and fresh. After class, take home all recipes with you so you can recreate the gastronomic experience again in the future.

– 11:00 am: Continue to Flower Market(Pak Klong Talad)
– noon: After visiting the Flower Market take a train to Huay Kwang
– 02.00 pm: Explore the local market and return to cooking school.
– 03.00 pm:: Session 1 (soup/stir-fried).
– 03:30 pm: Session 2 (salad).
– 04:00 pm: Session 3 (curry).
– 04:30 pm: Session 4 (dessert) and enjoy your dish.
– 05.00 pm: Enjoy your dish before the end of the class ends at the cooking class.
– 06.00 pm: Transfer back to the first meeting point MRT Huaykwang Exit 4.
