A Volunteer trip for all especially Elephant lovers, friends, and family, who need to safe the Elephants. A great day for visitors who want to learn, and take care for elephants. Care taker would do daily to keep an elephants healthy.

The Volunteer Elephant Sanctuary
In Kanchanaburi,Thailand you have the opportunity to participate in an elephant sanctuary, in order to get to know these wonderful animals closely. If you would like to get close to the elephant without riding on him, but to observe them in their natural environment. This trip is ideal to gain a wonderful insight into the life of elephants. The elephants in this habitat are former domesticated elephants working in the tourist industry. Now they no longer have to work and can live freely in their natural environment. The aim of the project is to improve the living conditions of the elephants and provide a sustainable income for the mahouts and their families. Here you spend 6 hours with elephants and feed them, accompany them to a mud bath, wash them and swim with them.
Excursion :
Elephant for a Day at Sai Yok Kanchanaburi Schedule of the day 06:00am pick up from Bangkok Hotel and transfer to the project. Returning: Approximately 06.00 pm to Bangkok. After a safety briefing on arrival at the project, you will prepare food for the elephants and then given the opportunity of meeting and getting to know the elephants whilst feeding them. Walk to the forest with the elephants to learn about elephant information. After lunch, watch them enjoy playing in a mud pit walk with the elephants to the river and bathe the elephants. Walk with the elephants through the forest back to the main project area and feed the elephants and take the final photos of the day. 3:00pm – Depart from Elephant project and return to Bangkok.

Clothing : T-shirts, comfortable and durable pants and trekking sandal are recommended.
